The  Bodysuit is a one-of-a-kind lightweight, breathable full coverage suit. It is ideal for snow protection, controlling shedding, dander, dirt, stickers, coat damage, ticks and biting insects. This highly versatile suit also helps protect injuries, rashes, and surgical sites – as well as, provides outstanding relief for dogs suffering from skin related allergies and cancer. Its high quality 4-way stretch material moves with your dog and is easy to put on and take off. The unique design stays in place even on very active dogs.

How to measure your dog:

0. Top Line – Measure from the middle of the shoulder blades along the back bone to the dock of the tail.

0. Girth — Measure the distance around the girth from just behind the front legs.

 Compare your dog’s measurements with those listed in the size categories below to determine the most appropriate size for your dog. If your dog’s measurements fit into more than one category, use the Top Line measurement alone to select the best size.

Note: We currently do not make  COATS specifically for short legged breeds such as Basset Hounds and Dachshunds.  However, we have had numerous customers purchase and modify the garments to fit their dogs.

 Allergy: Skin allergies are a frequent reason for customers using the bodysuit. Allergies can be a frustrating, time consuming, and expensive problem. The constant licking, biting, chewing and anxiety can take a toll on the dog and the rest of the family. We have had many customers who have tried numerous medications (including Benedryl, and steroids), multiple diets and other homeopathic methods to control their dog’s allergies.

The  Bodysuit has proven to be a great way to beat allergies. Although we cannot guarantee 100% effectiveness, we have found that the garment significantly reduces allergy symptoms in the vast majority of cases. We do not have any objective data to tell us why the garment works, but the results of our customers speak for themselves. Most Veterinarians have found that covering the dogs body will reduce irritation. We have not found a proven theory as to why this is true- but most vets in general agree with the premise.

If you have a dog with allergies, we encourage you to try our garment and see the results for yourself. Also, consult with your veterinarian about use and safety. We have not had any reported problems with extended use of the bodysuit in dogs with even severe allergies. However, we recommend that any dog with a skin condition warrants special attention. Please start using the garment slowly and steadily increase duration of use. Regularly inspect the dog for any irritation.

Automobiles:  Reduces amount of dog hair, dander, dirt, stickers/burrs, and fleas left in your vehicles.

Please note: To cool themselves, dogs do not sweat. Instead they pant and release heat through their ears and feet. In fact, 90% of a dog’s heat is lost through these three channels. The  bodysuit does not prohibit your dog from cooling himself. However, it is not intended for use in extreme heat conditions unless directed by your veterinarian.

What makes the Bodysuit so special?

This garment has been specifically designed to be closefitting, comfortable, safe and effective. The Bodysuit has many uses such as controlling shedding, wound/injury protection, allergy relief, reduction of tic/burr exposure to name a few. We are still finding new uses for this garment. There is nothing like it in the world!

Is the Bodysuit waterproof?

No. The garment can be Scotch Guarded to help it repel water, but the material is not waterproof. Though the fur may get damp, the bodysuit will keep mud and debris off a dogs body.

Can my dog wear a bodysuit in the water?

Yes. The Bodysuits lightweight, breathable material is ideal for the pool or stream.

Can I use the  Bodysuit in the snow?

Yes! The  Bodysuit works great in the snow-especially for dogs with longer coats. It will reduce your dogs exposure to ice and helps to prevent those terrible snowballs from forming on your dogs legs and abdomen. The  Bodysuit can dramatically reduce the amount of time you spend cleaning your dog after a romp in the snow. However, the  material will not keep your dog warm. How durable is the Bodysuit?

The  Bodysuit, though lightweight, is very durable. However, it is not indestructible. We do guarantee that the seams will not come unstitched. In fact there is a full exchange warranty against manufacturing defects.

Can my dog go to the bathroom wearing the  Bodysuit?

Yes. The garment is unisex so that male and female dogs can go to the bathroom without having to adjust the garment. Females have absolutely no problems. Males, due to their different anatomy, can have the abdominal zipper slightly undone to prevent them from urinating into the garment. The zipper is a non-travel/locking zipper.
